S Lenses

For the Leica S camera, Leica has put together a lens selection with something for every photographer. All important areas of photography are covered. Almost all lenses are optionally available with a leaf shutter. Leica is one of the few lens manufacturers that can offer aspherical lenses in series. Aspherical lenses are more complex to manufacture, but can achieve the same effect with one lens as several spherical lenses. Leica provides wide-angle, telephoto, macro, zoom, and tilt and shift lenses. Thus, there are excellent lenses for, for example, landscape, architecture, or even subject photography.
